WE HELD A ROUND TABLE ON TOPICAL ISSUES OF FREIGHT TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY
Since 2022, the “AST” Group of Companies has been a member of “Gruzavtotrans”, the National Association of Freight Motor Transport. On March 12, “A Just Russia — For Truth” party organized a meeting in the State Duma, where the participants discussed issues in the logistics sphere. The round table was attended by Anton Kozlov, Deputy Director of the Public Policy Department, Sergei Mironov, Chairman of the “A Just Russia — For Truth” Party, Alexander Remezkov, Deputy from the Omsk region, as well as representatives of the trucking industry, relevant departments, and the prosecutor’s office.
A number of important issues were raised at the meeting:
- Lack of high-quality road infrastructure;
- Incorrect operation of automatic weight and size control points;
- Remuneration of heavy truck drivers;
- The high cost of the domestic automotive products.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation on lawmaking and law enforcement practice.
