LOADING THE CHASSIS BASE OF THE CAT 993K FRONT LOADER IN BRONKA PORT
Recently, we moved the chassis base of the CAT 993K front loader — the most powerful representative among loaders! It is designed for quarry work and easily copes with both soil and rock.
Loading and unloading operations were carried out in Bronka port using a Liebherr LTM 800 crane. The loading capacity of the crane in hook mode is 308 tons. Bronka port owns two such cranes, which in tandem can reload cargo weighing up to 500 tons!
The loader is completely disassembled for the ease of transportation, but even an empty chassis has a fairly large weight — 56 tons. For this transportation, we selected a trawl with a “trough” type loading platform, the length of which is 10.12 m and the loading capacity is 60 tons.
